CescFabregas has revealed that Conte is counting on him
Fabregas has gone from being a consistent starter in all of previous club including: Arsenal and Barcelona. In all of those teams, Fabregas helped them in securing a number of different pieces of silverware.
Chelsea is the current club of CescFabregas and the Spanish midfielder has aided the Premier League outfit in winning their domestic title as well as the Football League Cup. The 2 initial seasons of Fabregas in Stamford Bridge were fairly memorable for him as he made 33 league appearances and provided 7 assists while scoring 4 goals in his 2nd season as a Chelsea player.
After having made over 30 appearances in each of his 2 initial seasons for Chelsea, Fabregas appears to have dropped down in the pecking order in the Premier League club and this is due to the arrival of Antonio Conte as the Italian manager has only utilized the services of CescFabregas for a few minutes during the 3 opening league matches of this new season.
However, according to a recent statement from Fabregas himself, there might a chance that the Spanish midfielder will become a regular starter soon as Fabregas wrote on his instagram account: ‘’Contrary to what has been written, the manager and I have a good relationship and he has NEVER told me that I can leave.
He said that he counts on me, as I count him. I will continue to fight for this club until the very end and when called up I will always give my very best. I’m fully committed to @chelseaafc and my only goal is to help them win more trophies’’
This statement was released by Fabregas as he stated that his relationship with Antonio Conte is a healthy one, despite what rumors have recently been claiming.
