CESC DENIES REPORTS
The Barcelona midfielder, Cesc Fabregas, has denied the reports of dispute between him and the Barcelona manager, Tito Vilanova.
Fabregas hasn’t been given regular starting opportunities in the ongoing season and there have been reports that Fabregas is not happy with his exclusion from the first XI more often than not. But, the former Arsenal player said that all these reports are just rumours. Everything is all right between him and Vilanova.
As per Fabregas, if somebody is not going through the best of forms, he deserves to sit on the bench and there is nothing wrong in that. It’s part and parcel of the game. You can’t be included in the starting XI all the time. You need to be patient and wait for your chances.
However, Cesc Fabregas was included in the first XI in Barcelona’s recent match against Getafe and the Spaniard looked in good touch. He was not at his best, but, he played decently. Fabregas believes that he would get regular playing chances in the upcoming matches. The midfielder said that it was good to be back in the first XI against Getafe. It would have been great to score a goal, nevertheless, the team won and that’s the most important thing.
On being asked about the poor performance of the rival club, Real Madrid, in the ongoing season so far, Fabregas said that it has not been the best of starts of the season for Madrid, but, they will certainly bounce back. They have got a formidable side and they are perfectly capable of moving up in the points table. Barca shouldn’t take Madrid lightly at this point of time and try to gather as many points as possible. Barcelona will play its next match against Granada on 22nd of September at Camp Nou.
